There is also an intention to invest in improving the state’s ability to prevent and combat rural fires, namely through:

•  The acquisition of light and medium-class helicopters;
•  The acquisition of vehicles, machinery, tools and equipment;
•  The acquisition and installation of two dual-polarisation radar systems, with associated computing and filing systems, the installation of thunderstorm detectors and an automatic weather station.
