i05: Digital Transition of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (78 M€)
The Madeira Autonomous Region intends to provide the region with high-speed broadband digital networks that will support an entire new digital and technological environment, boosting the digitisation of services and businesses, innovation, the knowledge society and entrepreneurship, promoting the establishment of new telecom trends, such as 5G networks, IoT ecosystems and the development of smart cities. The proposed investments encompass:
- Innovation, Modernisation and Digitisation of Destination “Madeira”;
- Culture + Digital;
- Fostering Forest 4.0;
- Digitisation in the transport sector;
- Public Administration Modernisation and Reorganisation;
- Digital Transition in Madeira_Terrestrial Vector;
- Extended Connectivity – Fostering Innovation, Telematics and Enhancing Operation Security;
- Qualification of the Public Administration, in close coordination with higher education institutes;
- Data Science in the Sea, Tourism and Transport sectors.
